Shields International Realty is a Florida-licensed real estate brokerage in Miami. We were tired of chasing wires, hunting for missing earnest money receipts, and explaining wire fraud risks to first-time buyers. So we built the platform we wished existed. Then we opened it up to other Florida brokerages.
Real estate runs on trust. The tools didn't.
Every Florida real estate transaction depends on one thing working: the earnest money has to actually be where everyone thinks it is. Yet the standard process is still emailed wire instructions, scanned bank screenshots, and broker-assistant phone calls confirming that yes, the funds arrived.
That fragility costs real money. The FBI tracks over $400 million in real estate wire fraud losses every year. Buyers get phished. Bank account numbers get swapped at the last minute. Earnest money disappears into the wrong account, and nobody finds out until the day of closing.
We built Escrow Bunny to fix this for our own deals first. Once it was working, our agents started asking how other brokerages could use it. That's the platform you see today.
